Club / Honors Society sell Bratwürste at the Duke Oktoberfest. |

Students and faculty party it up at the annual German Department Faschingsfest. |

In the Spring of 1998, students in Prof. Walther's Intro to
German Drama
class staged a performance (in German) of Friedrich Dürrenmatt's
play "Besuch der alten Dame" ("The Visit").

Once a week, students have a chance to practice
speaking German with other students, native German speakers, faculty
and grad students at the Stammtisch
(German table), usually held
